FAQ's

A Venture Studio is a company that builds multiple companies, in succession. Also
known as a Startup Studio, they have everything you need to build businesses and help
them grow and succeed. According to Y Combinator, startups have a failure rate of more
than 90% globally. However, those built from Studios have success rates of 25-30%.

Our processes come from experience, and being tried and tested. When an idea is selected, we check if it solves a real problem by building prototypes to test a basic version of the solution with real people and customers. Then, we build a minimum viable product or MVP to launch in the market and get customers onboard, giving us both revenue and more importantly: feedback. We then make adjustments to the product based on what our users and customers want.

Startups fail for a number of reasons: Not having the right leadership, or finding that
the idea isn’t really solving a problem and the product isn’t a right fit. Maybe they
couldn’t hire the right people to get things done. Sometimes, it’s just launching at the
wrong time. Some don’t get access to the investment they need to get over their next
milestone. Our team is led by experienced entrepreneurs who have built, grown, and
exited multiple ventures. So, we know what failure means. We are agile, meaning we
only build products that we know customers need and test the market fit of our products
extensively before we launch them.

The studio model is a natural evolution of the company creation process. Studios differ from Accelerators in certain key ways: Accelerators work with existing startups, Studios build most startups in-house and grow them with the ecosystem access they have. Accelerators engage with startups that have already been launched and offer them a short runway with a working/networking space. Studios have access to all the required resources, leadership, capital, and talent to test, build, launch, and grow ventures at scale.
Venture Studios are considered to have more ‘skin in the game’ than Incubators since they play an active role in all aspects of the venture building: idea validation, product development, launch, founder recruiting, partnerships, mentorship, fundraising, and more. Studios lower barriers to entry for new founders by offering financial support and higher levels of operational involvement across the entire early-stage life cycle.
We are a hybrid Venture Studio, with experience working with Governments, Family Business Offices, Corporates, Founders, Educational Institutes, and Investors – helping validate ideas, build, and launch new ventures, programs, and studios.
We focus on being frugal, innovative, and sales-focused, to validate and build clear and scalable business models that have different avenues for revenue generation – so that each startup has the chance to be profitable even before adding venture capital investment. Frugal does not mean we cut corners. Instead, we are super focused on building startups with speed and efficiency.
We are driven to create value. A key focus of our venture-building approach is identifying and working with early adopters and new and emerging markets. We collaborate with talent from across the globe and actively seek out opportunities and partnerships that ensure that we are always focused on what the customer needs and we only build ventures that solve problems.
We are value-driven and take pride in knowing that our people are the core of what we do. We take pride in a culture based on integrity, transparency, and collaboration – helping people to be the best version of themselves and allowing us to have fun doing what we do best. We are a hybrid, remote, and agile team, and the value that we bring to our customers is based on the experience and skill of our shared team.
